A few shots of the new pads
Sunday 2.12.12
We had a great workday this sunday! Proud to say all blue tees have Rubber fly pads, they look amazing and very professional!!!! It took a lot of hard work from a lot of people! A HUGE thanks to Johnny Davis and the Jasper county parks dept for all of their support. They supplied us with everything we needed at a seconds notice. We wouldn't have this amazing course if it wasnt for Johnny and the parks dept... so if you see him on the course thank him! Thanks also to all the club members who came out and helped over the past 6 months. I feel I dont really need to thank anyone because I know everyone who has come out to throw some shovels, and smack tampers enjoys it as much as I do. Next on the Sarge agenda are the Gold tees. Johnny has bought the new Innova Crate pads to install on all Gold Holes. We are going to install one on hole 2 gold to test out before we put them in on every hole. We will be one of the first courses to have these pads once we get them all installed. Sarge for the Win!

After the workday this past sunday we had a great Tag challenge even with everyones "Tamp hands" (if you have come out to the workdays you know what this means)

Tucker came out with the win that got him 30$, CTP and Tag 4! Nice shootin' Tucker!

SUNDAY, 10.3.10

What a day! Sunny and cool. There were 4 groups playing today for a total of 15 people. A few great scores for the day. Aaron tied his own record with a 46... Baxter shot a 49. There were a lot of low to mid 50's as well. Not bad scores at all. Even though the scores were low the ace money still remains high. Every one was going for the 450$ ace fund this sunday... no one hit it so its up to about 470$ for next week!!!! Not sure if the great turn out was due to the Ace fund or the great weather... either way it was nice to see a big group of people enjoying the Sarge! Hope to see you next week!

Hole 18 is back to the way it was. No more woods 18.

Sunday 8.15.10
Very wet and rainy today. There were three large groups today with a few people we havent seen play in a while along with some new comers to the Sarge. No great scores... Aaron shot a 50 in the pouring rain which was great but most every one else shot in the 60's! No ace today so it rollin over again for next sunday... be there its up to 311$!!! Hollah at the Sarge every sunday at 10am tee time.

On another note, The Flying gnome got a bunch of new plastic, both Innova and Disc craft! He is at the Sarge every sunday so come on out and stock your bag!

Sunday, July 18th-
One group of four and two groups of three started the day today. Once we got going the two groups of three joined into a group of 6... the foursome was taking there sweet old time... or just loosing to may discs. It was Ryans M's Birthday today... he didnt tell any one but we figured it out thanks to Facebook. Ryan also won the day shooting a 54 and earned himself Tag 1. There was a big change made to the course... and I think for the better. Hole 18 is now on the other side of the water shooting up the road twards the club house. Seems like it will be a fun hole once some of the small bushes and trees are removed. Looks to be a par 4 or even 5... a long "S" curve fairway witch requires two drives through a bunch of trees. Most everyone shot a 5 but there were a few 4's and a few 6's.

No one hit an ace today so the ace fund is up to 240$! One funny "ace" story about today is I hit hole 12 off the tee pad for a fun second throw and banged it. This is the second time in two weeks, back to back rounds that I have hit an " ace" on 12 on my second throw. Why can it happen on my first shot? O well... still fun. See you next sunday!
